Becca Frucht: Okay, it's Thursday so we are throwing things back, way back to when some of your favorite big name stars hit the red carpet for the very first time.
For child stars, the #TBT take us way back. Lindsay Lohan was an adorable 13 year old for 'The Parent Trap' red carpet in 1998; Emma Watson earned 10 points for Gryffindor when she charmed us in a feather boa at the 'Harry Potter' premiere in 2001; and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who were practically born into the 'Full House' limelight, attended the Emmy's in 1991 at only two years old.
Angelina Jolie also spent much of her childhood in the spotlight, thanks to celeb dad Jon Voight, who she joined at the Oscars in 1986, and she has been working those Oscar gowns ever since.
Meanwhile, hubby Brad Pitt didn't hit the red carpet until two years later, when he attended the Jimmy Stewart Relay Marathon Kick-Off with Shalane McCall in 1988. 1997 brought us Double Trouble when Matt Damon and Ben Affleck hit the scene with 'Good Will Hunting', which they wrote and acted in. The tale about unrecognized genius seemed to bring the opposite for the two friends, who each won an Oscar for the film and went on to have very long careers.
Our favorite sexy vampires throw us back to the early 2000s, Ian Somerhalder smoldered in leather at the Life As A House Premiere in 2001. Meanwhile, Robert Pattinson first brought his tousled hair to the red carpet in 2005 for his role as Cedric in 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire'. And lucky for us all, these first-timers ended up as pros, ensuring we will have more red carpet throwbacks from them for years to come.
