    Celebrities pay tribute to Phillip Seymour Hoffman after his tragic death.

    After the tragic news that Phillip Seymour Hoffman has been found dead in his apartment, tributes have been pouring in from his colleagues and friends.

     

    The 46-year old is reported to have died from a suspected drug overdose. According to police, the oscar-winning actor was found with a needle sticking out of his arm and is known to have struggled with drug addiction in the past. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, George Clooney mourned, saying there are "no words, it's just terrible." Taking to twitter, Channing Tatum wrote, "the creative community has lost a true acting genius." Elijah Wood also expressed his condolences and said he was "heartbroken and shocked by the loss." The Capote star was halfway through filming the latest installment of The Hunger Games, and the film's director, producers, and actress Jennifer Lawrence said in a statement, "words cannot convey the devastating loss we are all feeling right now." Phillips leaves his family and three children behind. Sad news.
