Hi! I am Franklin Taggart. I am a guitar player and a guitar teacher. Right now, we are going to take a look at the names and numbers of the strings on the guitar. Now, this is a six string guitar. There are guitars that have more than that. There are seven strings guitars and twelve string guitars. We are using a standard six string guitar here and the numbers of the sting start with the skinny sting on the bottom. Thats one; the next is two, three, four, five and six. The name of the first guitar string is E, the name of the second string is B, the name of the third string is G, the names of the forth string is D; the name of the fifth string is A, and the name of the sixth string E. Those are the names and numbers of the six strings on a guitar. Now, we are going to take a look at a guitar tuner and how it works.
