How to Chop CabbageWe have a whole head, we'll cut it in half right down through the middle of the root. The cabbage heart, this hard part right here in the center, make sure you don't want to eat that, that's very hard and bitter.
We are going to cut it in half again right down through that heart again, and then we want to cut the heart out. Just cut it out like that and then we are going to cut our cabbage into sections like that, turn it around and that is chopped cabbage.
How to Slice CabbageWe will slice it in very thin slices. If are making Coleslaw, this is a great cut for Coleslaw. Slice it very thin, using your knuckles as a guide with your knife, and that's how you slice cabbage.
