Dina Igoe: Hello! My name is Dina Igoe and I am the co-owner of Apple Seed Maternity & Baby Boutique in Old Town, Alexandria, Virginia. Today, I am going to show you how to build the perfect build the perfect maternity wardrobe. We are going to start by showcasing the Bella Band which is every girls best friend at the beginning stages of your pregnancy Then we are going to move to talk about sizing which becomes kind of a fear for most girls for they dont know what size they are any longer. But thats okay! We are going to go through all the sizing and I can show you exactly how the things grow, throughout the whole nine months. After that we are going to focus on basic pieces for your maternity wardrobe. Everybody needs at least a couple of basics and those can work with you day and night. I am going to show you how to transition your clothing from season to season without having to buy everything new. Most girls are pregnant during more than one season and therefore this is really important. Then we can also talk about how to transition day clothing into night, work into evening, and also how to wear your work clothes on the weekend and make them look adorable. Then we are going to focus on accessorizing; there is nothing like accessorizing a dress to make it look completely different from one event to the next.

And finally, we are going to show you how to use your maternity clothes postpartum; after to have the baby you might still need a few items and they might actually serve you really well afterwards. Before we get started, let me tell you a little bit about myself. We have now had Apple Seed for two years and seen thousands of pregnant women day in and day out. The concept started with just two best friends talking about doing something on their own and a lot of research. We began our research by thinking about doing just a children's store but as it turned out, there was a great need for maternity in the area and therefore, Apple Seed was born. We now have a great store here in Old Town and we are taking it online as well offering what we have to women all over the country. And I think we are ready to begin our segment on how to build the perfect maternity wardrobe and we are going to start with the Bella Band, lets get going.
