Visnja Kosanovic from the International School of Music shows you how to make a sound on the whole flute.

Visnja Kosanovic: Hi, my name is Visnja at the International School of Music. I would like to tell you how to get the sound on the whole flute. Once when you learn how to blow on the head-joint, when you have the proper position of your hands, we will start with note B, thumb and index finger on the left hand, right hand just key, make your embrasure and blow gentle but steady that your air stream is firm and resonate in the flute. Pressing next key, after index finger, middle finger you are getting note A. Next one G, with the same fingering, but the over-blowing, you are getting the octave higher. The speed of your air should give the higher frequency and that will give you the higher octave.

Now, I would like to talk about different articulation.
