Christina Crawford: Hi, I am Christina Crawford. I am Stampin Up! demonstrator. Today I am going to show you many ways to wrap, wrap gifts. Some are basic ways and some aren't so basic. Let's just say that they are very unique ways of wrapping gifts. There is basic wrapping, where I will show you how to measure and cut paper using as little as necessary.

There are some great ideas on recycling household items for wrapping gifts using brown shopping bags, white bags, even using shoe boxes. I am also going to show you how you can wrap beautiful gifts in cellophane bags. You will also see how to present a gift card to a friend. You will see a lot of different supplies that I will be using, but for now, to get started some things that you really need to have are a great pair of wrapping paper scissors, they are also called ribbon scissors. Just note the design and I talk a little bit more about that in one of the clips and you need some tape. Ribbon always helps, it just adds that certain touch, it hides a lot of rough spots on wrapping and ribbon is just everywhere. You can find lots of different ribbon. Ink pads and stamps, they help embellish the wrapping so it makes it more unique and more creative.

Some safety tips. The scissors get really sharp, so you do want to be careful especially for having little ones help you with the wrapping. Scissors can get really sharp and of course you want them sharp, so they cut the wrapping paper very easily, it cuts the sticky strip, it cuts your ribbon like butter and it also can cut your fingers too, so you really have to be careful. Other than that I think that most things are very safe and easy. Some of the ink pads are non-toxic, so you really don't have to worry about ingesting it or if it gets on your fingers which you might see and you are getting some inky fingers, as you look through the different wrapping demonstrations. Before we begin, here is a little bit about me. I went to college and I have a business degree. I always loved art when I know my dad said, you should become an accountant . And so that's what I did, I was an accountant but look I have so much fun with art. So I have my business degree which helps me first sure, I am so glad that I did, it was great opportunity but you follow your passion and your dreams and I was able to have my business in the stamping field and the art field anyway and I just really have a great time with that. So, let's get started with gift wrapping.
