My name is Ronald Turner; I am a pediatrician here at The University of Virginia School of Medicine. Today we are going to talk about the cause, the treatment and the prevention of common colds. I have been studying common colds for about 25 years. We do these studies in adult human volunteers and we have studied over the years various treatments including the traditional Antihistamine and nasal decongestant treatments, as well as the natural remedies such as Akinesia and Zinc.
