Gwendolyn Francavillo: Hi! I am Gwendolyn Francavillo, Health and Wellness Coordinator at Gallaudet University and now we are going to be talking about relationships and peer pressure.

Speaker: How can I have a healthy relationship?

Gwendolyn Francavillo: A healthy relationship has different components. So you want to make sure you are communicating effectively with each other. So you are really listening. So you are talking to one another and actually actively listening. So you are repeating back to people what they are saying, full communication. You also make sure you're enjoying your time together. So you're having fun, you are sharing interest; you're doing things that they like to do as well as things that you like do. You are supporting one another to good times and tough times, and being together is really adding to your life and not taking away from your life.
