Host: What should my resume introduction be?
Louise Kursmark: Your resume introduction needs to be a mini bio, a quick summary, an overview. So, if someone were reading it, they would know enough about you to be able to describe your expertise to somebody else. It's hard to explain exactly how to do that without showing some example resumes. So, I would suggest that you take a look at some resumes, look at some resume books if you have the chance to visit a book store or a library and see how different people have written the summary part of their resume because that's going to give you the best example and a springboard for some ideas that you can use to write one that is going to be unique for you. Make sure you do tell them that mini bio, a little bit yourself, overview statement, so, then they will appreciate and understand the chronology that's going to follow in your resume.
