It's is really simple when the kids are back to school, it's time to get back to your routine. All you need is a stability ball, a resistance band and a set of hand weights to build a home gym. Now when you pick your stability ball, you want it a right size for you. You should be able to sit on it with your knees bent 90 degrees. About 55 cm ball will be 21 inches high, so remember that. Now resistance bands, they come in different resistance. This color is orange, it's our fitness logo band but you will see in stores, different colors, yellow might be light resistance for 5 pounds, red might be a heavier resistance at 8 pounds. Just check the package. Last piece you are going to have is a set of hand weights. You can do tons of exercises, unlimited exercises with these. Just remember those last few reps of your set, have to feel difficult or else you are not using heavy enough weights. So now what if you want to get outside, kids are gone, you have got time to leave the house, walking is great exercise and it burns 245 calories an hour. Make that a hiking it will burn 387 calories an hour. Find a trail near you at www.
