Tina Moran: Hi! I am Tina from Goddess Fitness and today you will be learning advanced pole dancing inverts. In this segment, Jenn is going to teach you how to do the catapillar.
You will start up with a basic invert and move your inside shoulder to the front of the pole just like with the scorpion. Once you are in invert facing the pole, you will position one hand so that it's at face level on the pole and the other hand is at belly button level. From here you will use your arms to push out while going into a squatting motion sitting back. This motion should bring your lower body higher on the pole. From here, you will straighten your body again squatting down the pole.
This step will be repeated several times; until you have a catapillar crawled all the way down the pole. So let yourself down on the pole, use your inside shoulder to the other side of the pole and release your grips fully. That is how we do the catapillar. Next, we will be learning how to do the inverted thigh hold.
