Tina: Hi I am Tina from Goddess Fitness and today you will be learning advance pole dancing inverts. In this segment Jen will be showing you how to do the Gemini.
Jen: When doing the Gemini you would be gripping the pole with your inside arm, outside leg, and also inside hip. You will need to keep up your outside leg if is you are going it into the basic invert.
Instead the gripping the pole with your foot you will bring your outside leg across the pole so that you are gripping the pole behind your knee. Position your body so that your side is touching the pole, squeeze your inside arm's towards your body to grip the pole as well.
Once you have a secure grip of the pole, your inside leg will point straight away from the pole and your other arm will be reaching behind you. To let yourself back down on the floor, bring your body back into a basic invert position and lower slowly.
