    Dr. Guy Eakin: Hi! I am Dr. Guy Eakin. I am going to give some tips for caregiving of people suffering from the devastating and the debilitating effects of Alzheimer's disease. Alzheimer's currently affects more than 5 million Americans and as baby boomers continue to age, we will all begin to see more people affected by the disease.

    Providing caregiving for those with Alzheimer's is an enormous task that is both physically and emotionally exhausting. Some simple ways to reduce the burden of Alzheimer's or to seek help through government services for adult day care, take care of legal and financial planning as soon as possible and control caregiver stress with support groups, friends and family, create a safe environment and establish a predictable daily routine.
