Host: Are the free gas cards being offered to boost summer travel worth it?
David Rizzo: Only if you believe in a free lunch. I don't believe in free gas cards, they all come at a price. It's sounds tempting; yes we will give you a gas card if you do this and this and this but think about it, when you fill-out these forms they are getting your personal information so you can expect to see more spam in your e-mail box, more junk mail at your house, more telephone calls from solicitors. In another words usually the price for those free gas cards is information, your information. So it depends on what you feel your time is worth, personally I wouldn't deal with it, I think there is no such thing as a free lunch, there is no such thing as free gas, you are going to pay for it.
