    Karolyn Warfel: I'm Karolyn Warfel with Perky-Pet Wild Bird Feeding. I am talking about how to make your yard bird friendly. Now, we're going to talk about how to clean your feeders. It's very important for the health of the birds to make you sure you inspect your feeders every two to three days and make sure there is no mold growth or insect infestation. It's very easy to clean your feeders, just grab some warn soapy water. And you want to make sure that they're washed thoroughly, rinsed thoroughly and then you want for seed feeders in particular, you want to make sure you dry them before you put your seed back in. For hummingbird feeders there is a softer brush to clean them. Again, you want to use warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, use the brush to get into the crevices. You want to clean your feeders every one to two days with hummingbird feeders. For your bird bass, you want to make sure you're cleaning them and changing the water every two to three days.
