    Linda Stahl: Craving something sweet with a Halloween twist? We have got the recipe for you. Hi! I am Linda Stahl with Hershey's Kitchens. And today I am going to be showing you how to make KISSES pumpkin spice pumpkins.

    To get started we are going to first make the leaves and tendrils using Jolly Rancher green apple fruit chews. So what you want to do is to take your fruit chew and start kneading it and if you need to, you can place these in the microwave to soften them up just a bit, until you have a strand about like this.

    Now that I have these long stems, I am going to start using them to make my other parts. To make the leaves you simply take you thumb and your forefinger, pinch the end of it, fatten it out a bit and pull it off and then you just kind of twist the end and maybe give the little twist like that.

    Once you have the amount of leaves that you need, then make your stems. Just simply take our rope, just cut off sections that you can add to the top of your pumpkin. Once you have your stems, if you would like to add some tendrils, roll it out so it's even a little bit thinner, twist it around your finger, there is one tendril.

    Now that we have the leaves, stems and tendrils made for our pumpkins we are going to actually go ahead and make those pumpkins. Chop ten Hershey's KISSES pumpkin spice flavored candies and set aside.

    Place three tablespoons of butter in a large microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 30 seconds or until melted. Add two cups miniature marshmallows, 9 drops red food color and 8 drops of yellow food color. And stir together to coat the marshmallows. Microwave this mixture for one minute on high and then stir until the marshmallows are melted and the color is blended. Add your pumpkin spice candies and stir until they are melted and well blended. Next, add three cups of crisp rice cereal and stir in with the marshmallow mixture until everything is evenly coated. Next, what you are going to do is either using damp hands or grease your hands, take the mixture, roll it into balls and place it on a wax paper lined tray. While the pumpkins are still soft and pliable, add your stems, leaves and any tendrils that you might want to add to them. So here we have our pumpkin spice pumpkins, a creative and delicious treat to enjoy this fall season.
