Welcome to how to Bollywood dance by Dhoonya Dance. So, this is our Dhoonya method of how to Bollywood dance. Now, that you have learnt some basic Bollywood dance footwork and arm movements we wanted to put this together into some choreography for an actual routine. So, we are going to start with the footwork and basically you are going to start with a hip step. So, have one foot on its toe; your hands on your hip and you are just going to take it up-down, up-down, up-down, up-down. Now, with the music, it will be a little faster, but this is basically all you are doing is just taking your hip from up to down and then we switch to the left side, so that you are going up-down, up-down, up-down, up-down.
Okay, so this is our first step that we are going to use and then we are going to take what you've learned in the basic footwork which is a one, two, three step and we are going to take it backwards. Let's do without the hands first, so that you are going back with your right foot and you are stepping one, two, three; one, two, three; one, two, three; one, two, three. Now, you can take that same thing forward, stepping again with the right and its one, two, three; one, two, three; one, two, three; one, two, three. So, let's try to take that a little bit faster. In five, six, seven, eight, its one two, three, one, two, three; one, two, three; great and forward, one, two, three; one, two, three; one, two, three; one, two, three. The next step we are going to do is take this around. So, we are going to do an around the world, starting with the front and then hitting all the sides just stepping out with the toe. So, you are going to go, one, then side; then back; then side and we'll take it with our left foot leading, front, side; back, side. So, that's the next step and then that goes straight into, youll do your limp step again, but this time your body is going to go from down to up, using a hand-roll. So, that its one, one, two, three, four. Great, and then we move into the turn. So, you are crossing over and you are spinning it out. Okay, let's try that again. You are crossing over with your right and spinning out and then you are going to take your foot going to the right with the step, touch. So, its step, touch; step, touch; then limp; moving around going one, two, three, four. Then again step, touch; step, touch with the limp in place for four; then step, touch; step, touch a round, two, three, four; step, touch; step, touch and a little jump, jump. Okay, so let's try that again. It starts with step, touch; step, touch; a round limp for four; then step, touch; then it's limp in place for four; two, three, four; step, touch; step, touch, a round again, three, four; step, touch; step, touch and jump it out.
