Host: Can I replace lunch with snacks?
Wendy Reinhardt Kapsak: A lot of people ask, If I dont have time for a lunch, can I replace my lunch with a couple of snacks? Certainly, a lot of us have heard that maybe having, for some people having a couple of smaller meals throughout the day actually works better for them. So certainly if a regular 'lunch' doesnt work for you, snacks are a great way to still get all of your nutrition recommendations but at the same time maybe consider to losing weight. Snacks are great, the only issue is the size of the snack. So what we need to be mindful as we are not talking about four or five big meals throughout the day, but we are talking about snacks that means instead of the whole sandwich, consider half a sandwich. It means having a handful of nuts here and a piece of fresh fruit in the next two hours. It means breaking it up, taking that bigger meal and breaking it up into small sections.
