Lee Dorman: You can request a meeting to see your child's teacher anytime you feel that you need one. As a parent you are a consumer, a stakeholder, as it were in your child's education, and you should not be afraid nor should you be renascent about asking to see your teacher at any time. Be aware however, that teachers do have schedules and that they do have other things going on including mandatory meetings and things like that. So it maybe a couple of days before you and your teacher can get together, but please don't ever be afraid to call and ask for a conference.
