Eric Huber of Blaine Window Repair shows how to fix a sticky sliding window by replacing the rollers.

Eric Huber: Hi, I am Eric Huber with Blaine Window Repair Service. We are doing window repair. Now I am going to show you how to change the rollers in a sliding window. First you need to open the window. Lift up one of the panel and pull it towards you and the window will come out. There are two rollers on the bottom of the window one on each side. Now, we need to remove the roller from the window. To do that, you remove the screw on the end of the roller and pull it out. Once you have your new roller, you repeat the installation process. Line the roller up with the hole and reinstall the screw. Check and make sure your rollers move freely. Flip the sash back around and you are ready to install. To install it, you line up with a top groove and push it up to the channel, push the window in. Check the operation of the window to make sure it operates smoothly and that's how you change the rollers on a sliding window. Next is screen repair.
