With over 12 years of stamping and craft experience, I've learned that one thing is for certain...there is always something new to create and share. As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I've been recognized as one of the top demonstrators of the year each of my 11 years with the company. This is attributed to my wonderful customers and exciting and talented stamping team. I also give thanks to the stamping industry's fresh art designs and products. Stamping is great for those with little time (you can create something beautiful in minutes!), for those with tight budgets (making cards saves money over buying cards), and for those of all ages. I've enjoyed demonstrating many stamping techniques to thousands of people in workshops, stamp camps, and at several conventions. It is always my desire to show something fun and new. I love to tell new stampers that I am a former tax accountant. Everyone has a level of creativity, some more than others. With stamps, anyone can create gorgeous and simple projects! I am a great model of "if I can do this, so can you." Enjoy and Have Fun!

Christina Crawford: I am Christina Crawford, I am Stampin Up! Demonstrator. I have been stamping for quiet a while and I love it so much. My favorite part is giving gifts to people and just creating different kinds of wrappings. So, right now I have some gift wrapping ideas for you on how you can wrap a gift card in such a unique way, it is also a gift wrapping flash card. So, it is a great presentation, very easy to do.

Some of the things that you need is just a basic envelope and the envelope really can be any size. But, this is your average invitation envelop size and then what you need to do is to take that envelope. You done want to look it yet you just go ahead and fold that right in half. Make sure it is in half, its pretty easy to fold because it is very nice thin paper and then afterwards you are going to open that up, you are going to take some scissors and you are just going to cut along that seam right there and tape this front part down.

You could look it the taping, it is easy. Next just to make this a little bit easier this is just a little bit of a trick. Go to just cut off on an angle a little bit of that and then make it even. You can take a look at it and see if you like it or not when it is folded down. The next thing is to use some designer series paper and I believe that this is two inches by four inches and you need four panels, four pieces of the same and here they were, already used some of them in advance and when you fold this, this part is going to be the front part.

So, your special creativity, your special greetings whatever you want it to say can be right there on the front. When you open it up, this is going to give you another space, this is where your gift card is coming up and here is the back. Before I tape anything on I want you to put some ribbon on it because that is going to help it this gift s card holder they should.

So, I am using double sticky tape. I am actually going to open up the envelope and just get a big strip going down the whole side. Taking the ribbon just put the ribbon right down on top of that and then fold it. That should be pretty much in half right there and next it s okay to cover that ribbon and when I have done was I stamped this cute little penguin, he is dragging a Christmas tree. He went out and cut down a Christmas tree. I am using some double sticky tape and that is going to be my front. It is cute already, isn t it? Look at that, look how cute that is already. Next you are just going to take that ribbon, flip it up. I took another piece, this is double sided paper and so I don t want the whole thing to be the same patterned.

So, I am going to going to throw it off a little bit and what I have is a stamped greeting that says, gift for you . There is plenty of room for me to write if I want to write the name of the person that I am giving this to and a little greeting from me and it is a fairly light pattern. So, you could still see on top of that, with a sharp marker would be fine.

Next I am going to take another panel and put the tape down. Before I do that, it s going to match, I am going to take this circle punch and I am going to use it upside down. So I could see where I am going to and just punch a half circle, just punch that right out and you can take your scissors, just shorten these tab just a bit and then you are going to match that up right where that opening is on that card. You do not want it to be too different than the one at the top. You do not want it to be too far over. So, what that has is just a little section here for me to be able to pull the gift card right up. Now, this part gets bugs you, its part of the envelope and it s peaking in. If you want you can take some scissors and you can just cut that right out. You can probably do that before hand. Nobody is going to see the back of it. I don t think anybody is going to open this up and say what is underneath here. So, you can make a little v-cut in there in there, it does not have to be beautiful and now it s open. You do not have to worry about that piece. This is a way your gift card is going to slide right inside, isn t that wonderful?

You going to shut that part and then what I have done just because I am working with circles here, I stamped a little greeting that says, for you and I cut it out with the circle. I am only going to tape half of that circle because that is going to be the little path that opens up inside, little tab there.

If you want to you can put something that full or open or stay inside. I don t think anybody is going to open and not see that there is something underneath there, but if you feel better about making a little clue or note that there in there, go right ahead. This is how it looks, both are so beautiful.

I am going to put tape on this side and this will be my back panel and then I will go ahead and take my ribbon and I am very generous to put ribbon because I know that sometimes I give a gift and I want that person to be able to use that ribbon again and if it is too stubby or too short, what fun is that, -- it s just Gorgeous ribbon to use, this is a really nice thick grosgrain, Believe it is the olive grosgrain and then when you are finished you can just cut off a little bit with these great ribbon scissors and there is your gift card gift. Here is another one that is for birthdays that I have done in advance. So, you give this to your friend and he or she opens this up and there is a nice little greeting inside they say it is your birthday. Here is a little tab; I did the same thing with the circles. Open it up the gift card is right inside and then on the back panel, you can write your name on it. You are the artist, hand stamped by and hand created by made for you especially by and put your name on it.

It is just a great way of giving gift cards. Gift cards are so popular. So, giving many, who does not like that everybody loves gift cards and they are so popular. Here is a great way that you can put your gift cards inside before you give that to a friend. Well hope you like these ideas and stay tune because I have some more wrapping ideas at my famous 2,4,6,8 box.
