Kenya Bailey: Hi, this is Kenya Bailey and I'm going to be showing you how to do a deep tissue massage on the feet. And what you do is you just apply the massage oil on the feet and then what I do is I usually just sit on the table, just so I can have a better balance and with my elbow just go around at the bottom of the foot and just pull it down and this will help you save your figures and it actually feels a lot better, puts a lot more pressure.
And I'd do a circular friction on the feet and just do a stroke, very simple effleurage stroke and a cross-fiber friction. Then I can just press on various parts of the feet, then I push the person's foot down and then pull it up. Then I usually take this leg and just put a nice stretch, bring it all the way in, only as far as the person can take it. Remember to do these massage techniques on both side of the body and actually you can turn the person over so you can get the front area of the their body as well.
