Travel Reporter Kara Franker discovers the cool and beautiful island life on Captiva Island, just north of Sanibel Island on the Gulf Coast of Florida.

Kara Franker: Captiva is simply charming. It is the most adorable little Island Town that you've ever see. It's a perfect place to spend a luxurious vacation with your family.

John Jensen: The nature is fantastic, you have great beaches, it's just a little of everything, a combination. I had a couple from Switzerland rent a boat last week, and they live on lake, and I said that must be beautiful, and they said, yeah, but we don't have the nature. I think that's, you know, what makes Captiva special.

Barbara Harrington: Everybody found little tiny ones, up to grandma and grandpa can find something here. Every place you go is just that white sand beach and that beautiful blue water and it's like being in the Caribbean.

Kara Franker: There is something for everyone to do here and to be honest with you, that's something is a little bit or nothing. It's just relaxing on the beach, enjoying the sand of the waves, the sunset and that island atmosphere, it's amazing!
