One of the best ways to experience its diverse landscape is at one of the many Florida State Parks. With over 171 award-winning state parks and trails to choose from there really is something for everyone.

    The campaign along the famous Suwannee River and the Suwannee River State Park is a great adventure that allows visitors to relive the past when riverboats would travel up and down the river delivering goods.

    Male Speaker: The Suwannee River is absolutely one of the pretty trips I have been on in Florida.

    Male Speaker: And along the river you will find accommodations for camping, from primitive sites to more comfortable accommodations.

    Male Speaker: It has elevated sleeping platforms, they are screened in, they are just beautiful. We have hot and cold running water, places to cook. So its almost all the conveniences at home and you still get to leave home.

    Male Speaker: And did you ever think youd see stalactites in Florida, me either, but in Florida Caverns State Park you can hike through some beautiful and amazing caves which have formed over the course of hundreds of thousands of years.

    Female Speaker: The formations were approximately one cubic inch every one hundred year. All of Florida was once covered by one shallow sea, water is actually the architect of this cave.

    Male Speaker: Or hunt through Lake Louisa State Park for treasure with your kids on one of their many geocache adventures.

    Male Speaker: Its a way to connect technology with nature and its a way to explore an area with your family.

    Male Speaker: Each State Park offers their own geocache, which only requires GPS, your wit and instinct and a sense of adventure.
