Host: Given the challenges, why should I even consider writing a book?
Jim Frey: There would be a couple of variables, if you are doing it for friends and family, because they have told you, you have a story to tell or if you are assembling a family history or biography or genealogy, there is reward to getting those legacy type publications in people's hands. Current members of your family or future generations, if you are looking to market your book to a wider audience, then people you know or people to whom you are related, then you have to understand that fulfilling a dream of publishing a book or becoming a publisher, author is the most affective reason to publish a book. Book sales for unknown authors are hard, they are very hard. In no way should you invest money that you can't afford to have a book introduced at the literary marketplace.
