Stephanie Barlow: Hi! I am Stephanie Barlow from the National Watermelon Promotion Board. I am going to show you how to make watermelon dices and cubes to help you use up the whole watermelon.
First to start, we can do watermelon dices directly from the right. You can use a quarter watermelon or large slice like I have got here. I am going to use my paring knife. We are going to do about quarter inch slice directly down, parallel, and then we are going to go another quarter inch down, folding your watermelon in place, turn it, holding it in place once more, and there you have it watermelon dices.
The other you can do if you have bought fresh cut watermelon from the grocery store that's in large cubes or if your quarter watermelon cubing came out in bigger portions, you can this just like a Rubik's cube. So you go 3/3 slices.
And there we go. Small watermelon dices for a desert topping, lemonade dropping, and my favorite watermelon fire and ice salsa.
