Chef Amy Riolo shares her recipe for healthy Halloween trail mix sure to please any sweet tooth.

Amy Riolo: Today we are making Healthy Halloween Popcorn Trail Mix, this is really easy. What I am doing is I am starting with 6 cups of freshly popped popcorn, 2 tablespoons raw almonds, chopped walnuts, dried cranberries, unsalted sunflower seeds and 2 tablespoons unsalted pumpkin seeds. If you want to use a natural microwave popcorn, you can or what I have done is I have just taken regular old popcorn in the bag and I popped it on the stove. And I am just going to add in my almonds. And this is great, because you know, sometimes when you are snacking, you want something that has a little bit of different texture, little bit of sweet flavor and chewiness, in addition to all of the popcorns.

So this is wonderful, because you get everything in one and kids like it. Here are the pepitas, these are our pumpkin seeds and then we have our walnuts which we are adding in. So we get a lot of really healthy fats in this mix, we get a sweet flavor, we get vitamins and nutrients in addition to the popcorn, and popcorn by itself is a whole grain, it's very helpful for us, so it's perfect for kids to eat, It smells great! And so here you can see we have our Halloween Healthy Popcorn Trail Mix.
