A dietitian from Baylor College of Medicine says that a little caffeine can do you some good during the holidays by promoting focus and alertness.

A dietitian at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital says that caffeine has a valuable function, especially during the holidays.  It makes you more alert and focused.  But be smart in your beverage choice.  Stick to coffee or tea, which are plant based options, and help decrease the risk of liver cancer and diabetes---which you will need after all the eggnog and candy this season.  Also, less is more.  Try sticking to just two cups or less.
