Host: How much does the LSAT weigh in the admission process?
Bernadette Chimner: Most schools are going to weigh the LSAT has almost 50% of your application. Which means it's going to count for more than where you went to school, how well you did in undergrad, where you've worked since then, all your extracurriculars. Certainly, those other factors count, but unlike your undergrad where the SAT was just one little piece, the LSAT test is the one and only large equating factor they have to compare applicants across the board and unfortunately, schools put a lot of emphasis on that LSAT score. So no matter what, you want to make sure that your LSAT score is high as it possibly can be.
