Steve Kidera: For years, people considered video games just for teens, but this holiday season, just about everybody is asking for a video game. When it comes to video games, the same consoles that were out last year are the popular ones this year with Nintendo Wii, Sony PlayStation3 and Xbox 360, but the innovation in video games is coming from motion sensor; first seen in the Wii, now Sony PlayStation Move, and the Kinect from the Xbox. What's great about the Kinect is that it puts you inside the video game, involves motion sensing full body for the first time.
Portable video games are also becoming quite popular as well. Sony is out with their new portable device and then Nintendo 3DS is the first portable 3D video game system and it's glasses-free, so you can see 3D without needing to put anything on your head. When you're buying your video game console, think Bundles. This is where you get your console, games, controllers all together in one. You'll save yourself a lot of money and hassle. Video games really have become a family activity and with motion sensing and portable games, anybody can play and have a blast this holiday season.
