Randy Petersen: Hi everybody! I'm Randy Peterson with Storm Bowling Products. Today, we're going to talk about changing muscle memory. Now, what is muscle memory and why do I want to change it? Well, muscle memory is the subconscious action, that we've consciously trained our bodies to perform.
And the reason I may want to change that is, what if my bowling scores are too low. What if I'm throwing the ball over the lane? There is only one way to change muscle memory, and that is by reprogramming the subconscious mind, by making a physical change on a conscious level. And then by practicing for 21 straight days, 3-5 games a day before this conscious motion becomes a subconscious action. It's the only way to change muscle memory.
To reinforce this make sure that you've a friend that could videotape you or maybe you've a bowling coach that can work with you throughout this process.
You want to get rid of the low scores, you want to throw more strikes, you want to have more fun with this great game, change that muscle memory.
