Cleaning Expert Cathy Green discusses how to cleans your house like a professional.

Cathy Green: Hello! My name is Cathy Green, and I am the owner of UpperCrust Maids. What I am going to do today is give you awesome tips and tricks that professional cleaning companies use when cleaning a home. And hopefully, you'll be able to use those tricks and tips to clean your own home at a professional level.

What we are going to discuss today is how to professionally clean your baseboards. We are going to talk about how to professionally clean a floor, depending on what type of floor you have and a level of dirt on the floor. We are going to talk about how to professionally clean a toilet. We are going to talk about how to make a bed at a professional level. How to clean off a dresser and polish it, and then we are going to talk about how to clean a microwave oven, and how to clean carpet to its best.

For each clip, we are going to talk about the various types of tools as well as products that we'll need for the home, depending on the level of dirt, grease and grinds build up in each area of the home.

In terms of safety, there are some precautions that you'll need to take. I would strongly urge you to invest in some gloves, some disposable gloves. In terms of the product themselves, I would advise you to always put the tops on the products, put the products away, so that if a child comes to visit, that child will not be able to get into that product, maybe think that the product is something that's edible or drinkable. So always put your products away, make sure the top is very secure.

In terms of my personal background, I have a Master's Degree in Speech-language Pathology. But, decided a couple of years ago to start my own business. UpperCrust Maids is actually a natural cleaning company. We use green products as much as humanly possible, and we service the D.

C and Maryland areas, and let's get started.
