    Alexandra VanCleve: Hi! I am Alexandra VanCleve and I am here at Capt. Jack's Crab Shack, showing you how to cook and eat Alaskan King Crab legs. Now, I am going to show you how to cook them, and even though there are variety of ways to cook them, my favorite is steamy. It tends to lock in that sweet white succulent flavor.

    You want to start of by making sure that your steamer has got the water at a roaring boil. You want to place the King Crab legs in the water making sure that they are going to be fully submerged and use the tongs, if you have to because it is quite hot. It can take a little coaxing as the legs can be pretty big, and we will just grab a claw.

    These legs are thawed so, they are going to take about 4 to 6 minutes but you can use frozen ones and that will take about 8 to 9. It's been about 5 minutes so, lets go ahead and check the King Crab legs. Let's get the top open. Now remember they are fully cooked so, as soon as the meat is hot they are ready to eat. That's hot enough for me. So, just let them drain a little bit, shake them off, do a little dance with them and slap them on the plate, a little Old Bay to season and you are ready to eat.
