Okra is a vegetable grown primarily in the south and is one of the principal ingredients of gumbo.
First thing we want to do, make sure we cut off that hard, bitter end of the okra, and then typically we will slice it into slices about a quarter of an inch thick, just like that, and that's how you cut okra.
