John Basedow: For those of you who say you have no time to go to the gym, I came up with a little solution for you, and that is a circuit routine that you can do right in your own office.
To start with all you need are a couple of dumbbells and we're going to do the Military Press for shoulders. We're going to do a set of maybe about ten of them. After the shoulders with minimal rest we're going to go work the arms a little bit with alternate dumbbell curls. You feel the blood flowing, I bet you didn't know you could do all of this right in the office.
Put down one of the weights right there, I'm going to move right onto the triceps French press. Put the weight behind your head; pivot only at your elbows. You want to breathe out on the up movements and in on the down movement.
Right now we're going to go on to leg exercises. A lot of people don't thing they can do legs at all in the office however; you have an office chair, pick up both your dumbbells again we're going to squats holding the dumbbells out in front of us and bending at the knees you want to go so that you're fairly touching the chair and then up.
And now I'm going to show you a magic trick. Without even getting on the floor we're going to work our abs. If you have simple shower rod, you can put it behind your back and like a propeller you twist from side to side. This is a great core building exercise.
And there you go guys; that is a circuit routine you can do right in the privacy of your own office without ever heading out into the gym. Key to with though is consistency, so when you start doing it, don't stop. Make sure to do it each and every day, you'll be surprised at how much better you look at the end of the month.
