Charlotte Hellhoff: Hi! I am Charlotte and I am a Personal Trainer at Performance Private Training. Today, we're going to show you how to get ready for swimsuit season.
What we're going to talk about today, we're going to over your whole body. This is going to be a complete body workout starting with lunges. How to perform the perfect lunges? From there going to push-ups, triceps dips, how to perform a row and then the workout with abdominals. Then from then on, ending the whole workout session with showing you how to stretch.
The equipment we'll be using today is a mat for you to be more comfortable when you're on the floor, we use resistance bands and weights. If you don't have any of that at home, you can go to your pantry and look for anything that has some weight to it, such as maybe a water jug, soup cans or something similar.
When we work triceps today, we use a step. That's something you can find in any gym, but normally people don't have that home. So you can replace that by using a sturdy chair, stool or your living room couch. Before you start this workout, make sure you get your physicians clearance. Later on, we're going to talk about the importance of stretching. I cannot stress enough how important stretching is, specially after every workout. If you don't stretch, it's much easier to get injured. Before we start working out today, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I've been a Personal Trainer for 5 years and I worked here at Performance Private Training in Columbia for 2 years. The workout that you're going to see today is something that I do everyday with my clients.
