Amy Riolo: Hi! I am Amy Riolo with SweetLeaf SugarLeaf. Today, I am going to show you how to make black and white brownies; a sweet treat thats not only delicious but easy to make too.
Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. Using one tablespoon unsalted butter grease a 1218 inch baking sheet and dust with one quarter cup flour and tap to remove excess.
Next, add 4 sticks of butter, 4 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 pound of chocolate chips and melt over a double boiler. Once this mixture has melted, set it aside to cool.
Then in a large bowl stir together 6 extra large eggs, 3 tablespoons of instant coffee granules, 2 tablespoons vanilla extract and three-quarters cups stevia. Stir the warm chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and let it cool to room temperature about 10 minutes. While thats cooling combine 1 cup of flour, 1 tablespoon baking powder and 1 teaspoon salt in a medium bowl. Add this to cooled chocolate mixture and mix until well combined.
Pour into the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with a half cup white chocolate chips and a half cup semi-sweet chocolate chips. Bake for 15-25 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean. Be careful not to over bake the brownies or you will lose the chewy texture. Allow the brownies to cool completely, cut into squares, and enjoy.
