    Hi, I am Rob Kingsbury, owner of Kingsbury Chocolates in Alexandria, Virginia. Today, we are going to be making a Chocolate Pie from scratch. So, we will be making a homemade pastry dough, a homemade chocolate pie filling and homemade whipped cream topping. The ingredients that we will need today for all three of these different recipes include heavy cream, milk, sugar, flour, cornstarch, vanilla, butter and shortening. The equipment and materials that we will need today in the kitchen include saucepans, spatula or spoons, a hand mixer with both a whipped and a mixing attachment and as well as a tart pan for the pastry dough. Also make sure you keep safety in mind. We are working with a hot stove top and a hot oven.
