International chef Amy Riolo demonstrates how to make Egyptian key lime lemonade.

Amy Riolo: My sweet and frothy lemonade recipe comes from Egypt and it's a perfect way to beat the summer heat. So to set our lemonade we are just going to put our water into a blender. Then we are going to add in milk and the milk is really the secret ingredient in this recipe because it helps it to become very frothy. Then we're going to add in our lemon juice. Now in Egypt they use a variety of lemon called Daq lemon, DAQ. And these lemons are very, very small they look like Meyer Lemons, so they can just slice them in half and throw the whole entire lemon with the peel and all right into the blender. And they make of really sweet tasting lemonade.

Then I'm going to add our sugar. This is a half a cup, but you can add it as much as you like or to taste. And if you don't want to add sugar you can use Agave nectar or honey. Sometimes the lemons are sweet enough you don't even need that much sugar. Believe it or not lemons have more sugar in them than strawberries. So now we can put our lid on, just froth this up. We will turn our blender to liquefy and allow it to mix together. See how nice and thick and frothy this lemonade is. Doesn't have a traditional yellow color, but it makes up for it in taste. So here we have our traditional Egyptian style lemonade, perfect way to beat the summer heat. Cheers.
