    This simple, homemade, grainy mustard is rich with dark beer flavor and is great for sandwiches, brats, and more!


    Homemade Beer Mustard Recipe


    • 2 medium shallots, diced
    • 2 tbsp olive oil
    • 1 cup whole yellow mustard seeds
    • 1 (12 oz) bottle stout beer


    1. Dice 2 medium shallots
    2. Heat olive oil over medium-high heat
    3. Add shallots and saute until soft and clear, about 5 minutes
    4. Stir in whole yellow mustard seeds
    5. Toast for 30-45 seconds
    6. Add in one bottle of stout beer
    7. Simmer until all beer is absorbed
    8. Refrigerate for 30 minutes
    9. Blend until smooth
