Jim Davis: Hi there, Chef, Jim Davis here for Harris Teeter. I am going to show you now how to peel, pit and slice a nectarine. Using a vegetable peeler or a fruit peeler, simply use and pull the peel straight down to the bottom, you can also use a paring knife, if you'd like that, but I prefer to use this little peeler, I peel it down just like that. I am going to show you now how to slice a nectarine off the pit. We cut first around the equator on our nectarine. Hold the way around against the pit, and then we just take a slice down to the pit and peel right off. Nectarines are a lot like cling peaches, and that the fruit sticks very tightly to the seed, so we have to cut it off the seed that way, and that is how you slice a nectarine.
