Suzy Giordano Baxter: Hi! I am Suzy Giordano Baxter, also known as the Baby Coach. I am here to guide you into teaching your baby how to sleep through the night. If you're a parent that wants to set a good foundation for good sleeping habits or encountering problems in getting your baby to sleep through night, this video will be a necessary tool that will guide you step by step in how to accomplish that to get your baby to sleep through the night.

If you are a parent of a new born baby, there are three milestones that need to be reached before you start this program. One, the baby needs to be nine pounds of weight. Two, it needs to be able to eat 25 ounces of food in a 24-hour period or go comfortably between feedings three hours at a time and be six to eight weeks of age.

One important tool you must have is a log. This log will enable you to keep track of your babies intake of food and sleep patterns. Once your babies reach the right age in the right way, you will notice a tendency of sleeping longer at night and needing less food at night, and an increase of intake of food during the day.

That's your green light to start your sleep training. If you are a parent of an older baby, this log will help you to keep track of the intensity of the crying and the length of the crying. There are some safety concerns when it comes to sleep train your baby. Make sure, you place your baby on a safe crib; no bumpers, no blankets with not that many toys.

Maybe you can pick one that's going to become the baby's lovee. And finally, place your baby on is or her back. Before we begin, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a mother of five children. I have written a couple of books on how to sleep train your baby and I have been working with babies for almost 20 years and I am here today to share some of that experience with you.
