    Tina Casalino: Hello, my name is Tina Casalino and my company provides writing and proofreading services. Today we are going to talk about how to write a Business Letter.

    In the first clip we are going to talk about what is a business letter? And why do you write one? Then we are going to show you how to address the business letter. Then in the next clip we are going to talk about the main text of the letter. That includes the introduction, the body and the conclusion. In the next clip we are going to talk about the closing of the letter. This includes what type of salutation to use as well as where to format your signature. Finally in the last clip we are going to talk about a couple of steps you can do before you send that letter off. Some of the materials that you will need for this project will include computer as well as the word processing program such as Microsoft Word. You will also want to have a couple of pieces of scratch paper handy so that you can the notes down along the way. A couple of safety tips before we begin. Pay special attention to Ergonomic. Make sure that lower back is supported and that your shoulders are relaxed. Another tip, make sure that the top of your computer screen is slightly below or at eye level. My background includes more than ten years of writing and proofreading experience. Have a degree in English with a concentration in career writing from the Sonoma State University.
