Ice Cream Sundaes – The Swiss Top Sundae

    Olivia Everson: Hi, my name is Olivia Everson from Giffords Ice Cream & Candy Company. Today, we are going to be making ice cream sundaes. So right now, I am going to show you how to make the Swiss Topped Sundae.

    Some things you will need will be a bowl, ice cream of course, an ice cream scooper, almonds or nuts of your choice, hot fudge or sauce of your choice such as chocolate sauce or butterscotch, whipped cream and of course the cherry.

    The first step you want to place the ice cream in the bowl. It's always important to make sure you have round scoops of ice cream. The sundae will look lot better if it's rounded. The first thing we are going to do is we are going to take the sauce and sprinkle it lightly all over the ice cream and if you can't get this Giffords Swiss Chocolate Sauce, you can use any sauce of your choice such as hot fudge, chocolate sauce or butterscotch.

    Next, we are going to lightly sprinkle the almonds over the sundae. Take the whipped cream, always make sure you shake the can or it will come out kind of liquidy. We want to do a nice round circle. We are going to sprinkle a little more sauce on top. People love this sauce, it's like a light milk chocolate. Sprinkle it over the whipped cream. Take the cherry, it's always important to pick a cherry with it's stem and also shaking up the cherry juice, so the cherry juice doesn't spill all over the place and that's how you make a Swiss Topped Sundae.
