Discover how to make the holiday classic and everybody's favorite green bean casserole quickly in the Instant Pot.

    • 8 pcs bacon
    • 1 to 2 large shallots sliced
    • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
    • 34 oz frozen green beans
    • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    • 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme
    • 1/3 cup milk
    • ¼ tsp black pepper
    • 3/4 cup French's fried onions

    1. Spray the inside of your Instant Pot with non stick spray. Dice bacon, set to saute, and cook until lightly browned.
    2. Add the shallots at the end of the bacon cooking and saute until translucent and fragrant, 2-3 minutes.
    3. Add 2 cloves chopped garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
    4. Add remaining ingredients.
    5. Stir well. Set Instant Pot or pressure cooker to manual, pressure, low, for 15 minutes.
    6. Slow release (meaning move steam valve just slightly so steam releases slowly), stir, and set to manual, pressure, low for 10 more minutes.
    7. Natural release when time is up, top with fried onions and leave in pot for serving. Or pour in another dish and top with more fried onions to serve.
