Host: Is my nationality an issue?
David Petersam: This is definitely one of those, 'Don't shoot the messenger' type of questions. The answer is, unfortunately, yes. It is pretty well documented that the average Indian applicant who gets admitted has a GMAT score of 30-50 points than the overall admitted applicant pool. What we tell people though is, "You can't control your nationality. Try not to worry about things outside your control and just do the very best job you can with your GMAT, with your letters of reference, with your story themes and your wow factor. Whatever happens, happens and it was meant to be.
