Jazz dance instructor, Roger Bennett Riggle, demonstrates advanced jazz dancing including how to do a complete advanced jazz routine.

Roger Bennett Riggle: My name is Roger Bennett Riggle. Today we are demonstrating advanced Jazz dancing. To demonstrate these moves is one of my advanced Jazz students here at the Berrend Dance Center, Mackenzie Royce (ph). So now we are going to show you all of the moves put together in a dance segment and we start with Aerobesque, we move into Chass, we will then follow that with two Chain turns which will end in a Stag Leap and then we will exit with the Grapevine move. At this point Mackenzie will demonstrate all of the moves put together for you in slow motion. So we have Aerobesque, Chass through, Chain first, Chain high-fifth, double pirouette and stag and she grapevines off alternating the right arm across the body and out from the body as her legs grapevine across the floor. Five six, seven and Aerobesque, Chass through, Chain one, Chain two, double pirouette, stag, grapevine off. One very important aspect of studying dance no matter what style of dance it is is to make sure that you do your dance moves on both sides of the body. This way the body is trained to be as strong on the right side as it is on the left side.
