Pirooz Sarshar: Hi! I am Pirooz, co-founder of the Grooming Lounge. Today I am going to teach you how to get the perfect shave. Now I applied cold water to my face to shut everything down. After we have closed everything back down with the cold water it's now time to apply our after shave balm.
Most after shaves are either extensions of fragrance lines or they contain a lot of alcohol which hurts like a mother. Now I don't know about you I like to drink my alcohol I don't want it on my face and so I want my aftershave to be moisturizing. The aftershave I am going to use is called the Best for Last aftershave. Now the Best for Last aftershave is lot more milky than your average aftershave. It is very moisturizing. It doesn't contain any alcohol. It has got Lavender water in it which actually helps enhance the Endorphins, therefore it makes your face happy. But at the same time when you put it on and you put it on the skin you are going to notice that it looks like I have applied milk all over my face. But my face is so thirsty for water and so dehydrated and so needs some soothing after the after shaving because when I am shaving my face even though I am removing hair, I am removing some skin, okay. So why would I want to put alcohol on there when it is going to hurt. So I will apply a decent size, I would say a little bit more than a nickel size of Best for Last aftershave and I want to very generous with this. I am going to use it all over, it feels so good, it's already starting to cool everything down. It's already starting to shut everything down and if you notice the more I apply the more my face absorbs it. So some of you may think wow, you look like a ghost right now or you look like you have milk on your face but within time my skin and my beard will absorb all of this moisturizer. That feels great, it feels smooth, it feels like a baby skin. My face and my beard have had a chance to absorb all the moisturizing properties of the aftershave. I don't know about you but that was the greatest shave ever. And in my next segment I am going to talk to you about the biggest myths of shaving.
