Ed Mattern with Interstate Worldwide Relocation talks about how to plan for your move.

Ed Mattern: Hi! I am Ed Mattern with Interstate Worldwide Relocation. And we are here today to talk to you about how to plan for your move.

Some of the things that we are going to talk about are: first, how to select your moving method. I am going to give you a brief overview, if you were to move yourself, or if you are going to select a professional company.

We will also talk to you about, if you are moving yourself, the details and the specifics that you need to be able to do so efficiently. As well as, how to select a professional moving company? Next we are going to talk to you about some timeline elements, such as two to four weeks before your move, one week to the day prior to your move, and the day of your move. And finally, we are going to talk to you about delivery of destination and helping you settle into your new home. Some safety considerations are, you want to make sure that your truck ramp is available and usable. You want to make sure that you lift things appropriately, keeping your back straight at all times.
